Individual Consultations
How long is the visit? The length of the visit will depend on your needs and the complexity of your medical condition. Our visits can range anywhere between 45-75 minutes.
What can I expect at my first consult? At your first consult we will get to know you a little better, complete an in-depth nutritional assessment and provide individualized medical nutrition therapy recommendations based on your nutritional needs and health goals.
How does telehealth consult work? Your consult can be either telephone or a video appointment. For video appointments, you do not have to download any application, software, or 3rd party platform.
Once we schedule your appointment, you will receive a few emails/texts. The first email/ text will ask if you agree and opt-in to telehealth services. Once you opt-in, a second email/text will be sent to you with a few links, these links will direct you to a few forms you will need to review and sign as well as the link and passcode to your scheduled virtual appointment. We will also re-send link and passcode at your appointment reminder email/text.
To connect to your video appointment you will need to click the link, enter the passcode, enter your name and stay connected until your provide joins the session. Sometimes your provider’s schedule is running behind due to patient care and will connect 5 to 10 min after your appointment start time, we appreciate your patience as you wait for your provider to connect. Why do you need my credit card number? We ask for your credit card to help us facilitate our no show/late cancellation policy. We do not charge your card on file without your permission.
